Laser Cut Files Commercial Use License for Physical Product Sales

The standard Designs24hr laser cut files commercial use license permits unlimited finished physical-product sales for normal maker, handmade and small-business use, provided you continue to follow these license terms.

There is no requirement to purchase another copy simply because one permitted design becomes a successful finished product in your shop.

Large-scale industrial manufacturing, sublicensing arrangements, licensing Designs24hr artwork to another manufacturer as its own production asset, or other unusually large commercial uses may require separate written permission.

Using Employees, Contractors or Production Partners

You may use an employee, contractor, local laser-cutting service, fabrication service or production partner when that person or company is working specifically on behalf of your business to manufacture your permitted finished physical products.

You remain responsible for protecting the digital file. The production partner does not receive an independent license to use Designs24hr artwork.

  • The production partner may not resell the file
  • The production partner may not use the file for unrelated customers
  • The production partner may not add the file to its own design library
  • The production partner may not redistribute or sublicense the artwork

Print-on-Demand and Third-Party Platforms

A third-party production service may be used when it acts only as your manufacturing provider and produces finished physical products on your behalf.

You may not upload Designs24hr artwork to a stock library, public template system, design marketplace, print-on-demand catalog or other service when the artwork can be extracted, reused, licensed or sold independently by other users.

You Receive a License, Not Ownership of the Digital Artwork

Purchasing or downloading a Designs24hr file gives you permission to use that file under the terms of this commercial license. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying digital artwork.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific design, Designs24hr retains the applicable rights in its original digital artwork. Your license is non-exclusive, which means Designs24hr may continue licensing the same design to other buyers.

  • Do not claim to have created the underlying Designs24hr artwork
  • Do not sublicense the original or modified digital artwork
  • Do not register the underlying artwork as your exclusive intellectual property

Product Mockups, Preview Images and Designs24hr Branding

The digital-file license does not automatically include rights to use Designs24hr product mockups, Etsy listing images, website graphics, watermarked previews, banners, logos or other Designs24hr branding.

When selling a finished physical product, create your own product photographs, mockups or marketing images unless Designs24hr has explicitly provided separate permission to use a particular asset.

AI Training, Datasets and Automated Design Libraries

Designs24hr digital artwork may not be supplied, uploaded or licensed for generative-AI model training, model fine-tuning, dataset creation, automated design libraries or systems intended to reproduce, redistribute or generate derivatives of the underlying artwork without written permission.

Laser Machines, Software, Materials and Production Settings

Designs24hr provides digital artwork rather than machine-specific manufacturing certification. Buyers are responsible for confirming that their software, equipment and chosen materials are suitable for the project they intend to make.

  • Confirm your software supports one of the included file formats
  • Use materials approved for your equipment
  • Determine appropriate speed, power and production settings
  • Account for kerf and material thickness
  • Test small details and structural areas before batch production
  • Follow safety guidance supplied by your equipment and material manufacturer
No universal laser settings, minimum finished size, kerf value, material thickness or machine compatibility is guaranteed unless a specific product page expressly states that it was tested under particular conditions.

Responsibility for Products You Manufacture and Sell

You are responsible for the finished physical products you manufacture, assemble, market and sell using Designs24hr files.

This includes responsibility for material choice, hardware, construction, durability, finishing, labeling, suitability for the intended use and any product-safety, consumer, tax or business requirements that apply where you operate or sell.

A Designs24hr digital file is not certification that a finished physical product complies with a particular safety or regulatory standard.

Purchases Made Through Etsy

When a Designs24hr digital product is purchased through Etsy, the transaction is also subject to the applicable Etsy marketplace terms and the purchase, cancellation or refund information displayed on the relevant Etsy listing.

You can review Etsy’s current marketplace rules through Etsy’s official legal policies .

Designs24hr’s commercial-use license governs how Designs24hr digital artwork may be used after purchase, while Etsy separately governs transactions conducted through its marketplace.

License Duration

A valid Designs24hr license for a legitimately acquired digital file continues for that purchase as long as you comply with the applicable license terms.

Designs24hr may update these Terms & License for future purchases or future uses. Where appropriate, the terms supplied with a purchase at the time it was made govern that purchase unless a later version gives the buyer broader rights or another agreement is reached.

Do You Need to Credit Designs24hr?

Attribution is not required when selling ordinary permitted finished physical products under this license unless a specific Designs24hr listing expressly states otherwise.

Credit is always appreciated, but you do not need to place Designs24hr branding on the physical item or add a credit line to every product listing.

License Violations and Termination

The license may be terminated when a buyer materially violates its terms, including unauthorized digital resale, redistribution, sublicensing, ownership claims or other prohibited uses of Designs24hr artwork.

If a license is terminated because of a material violation, the unauthorized use or distribution must stop.

Reporting Unauthorized Use

If you believe a Designs24hr digital file is being resold, shared, redistributed or presented as another seller’s digital artwork without permission, please contact Designs24hr with the relevant page, listing or source information.
